1. Defend your Pack, even with your life. You can have friendships with wolves that belong to other Packs, but you must remember that your loyalty lies in your pack, as one day you might meet in battle.
2. Do not hunt or trespass on another Pack's territory. The consequences are terrifying.
3. It is respectful to feed the youngest and oldest first. You will be punished if you hunt only for you, and eat the fresh-kill without permission from a higher rank.
4. Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to Soul Pack for its life.
5. A pup must be at least six full-moons until it can be raised for a higher rank.
6. A wolf cannot be made Beta or Alpha without having mentored a pup.
7. The Betas will become Alphas once the past Alphas die or retire.
8. A new Beta wolf must be appointed before moonhigh.
9. Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing wolves.
10. No wolf may neglect the life of any pup. No exceptions.
11. The words of the Alphas are code.
12. An honorable wolf does not need to kill others to win its battles, unless they are outside the code or it is necessary for self-defense.
Know and acknowledge that the consequences for breaking the code can result in execution.
